Culture is a core part of Andøys community, and contributes to creating great experiences, local pride, identity, a sense of belonging, and encouraging participation. We offer theater, stand-up, marching bands, choirs, and exciting festivals.
Festivals
The largest festival taking place in Andøy is Rock mot Rus. This festival has been arranged annually since 1983, making it the oldest and greatest of youth festivals. Rock mot Rus has become a cultural beacon to Norwegians and especially for us northerners.
